Notification is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of the St Georges Basin Rural Fire Brigade to be held on the 20 April, 2009 at the Station on Tasman Road, St Georges Basin beginning at 7:30pm. All positions will be declared vacant by the Captain who will then appoint a returning Officer to conduct the election of officers. The election of Administrative positions only will be held. Field Officers positions run for a 2 year term. Nominations are still open for any additional Field Officer positions.

Thanks to John for filling Station and Grounds Officer positions. Thanks to members who have helped with the recent Horse Arena Fundraising and Firewise Phamplet Deliveries and Meeting, including clean up of Station.
Before responding you should decide whether or not you are fit to attend the call. You can use the I’M SAFE checklist given below as an aid: I - Illness/injury - Am I sufficiently recovered? M - Medication - Am I under the effects of any medication? S - Stress - Am I under severe stress from work or personal worries? A - Alcohol/drugs - Am I under their influence, or badly hung over? F - Fatigue - Am I tired and not adequately rested? E - Expertise - Am I currently competent? If you are not fit to go, it's OK to say no, I can't go.
